THE CREATION OF A FREE DATABASE OF GUITAR MUSIC

In the PROJECT section, groups of musicians who want or already do perform chamber music with the characteristics framed in this format, will have the opportunity of spreading their work through the site www.tunes4trio.org, leaving mp3, videoclips, pictures, profiles, etc

The site will also promote the works of proeminent guitarists in every style, and a special collection of sologuitar pieces or combinations of guitar ensembles will be available in the SOLO GUITAR section.

In a near future, festivals with competitions in composition, arrangement, performance, etc, will be promoted by tunes4trio.

THE CREATION OF A FREE LIBRARY OF SCORES

tunes4trio.org will soon offer original compositions, even trancriptions, adaptations and arrangements for the basic trio:
guitar, violoncello & flute , covering many different styles and periods. The project is open for ANYONE who wants to collaborate with donations in form of scores, mp3, mp4, pdf, texts, pictures, links, etc

Besides the above mentioned trio, in which the flute could be replaced by the violin or the sax, another bass instrument could be used, as the contrabass
or fagot. As solo instruments, the clarinet, oboe and viola could replace or be added with very good results. The guitar with two solo instruments, as 2 violins, flute and oboe, flute and violin, works wonderfully but demands a more carefully construction of the bass lines on the guitar, if no bass instrument is present in the arrangement.
